About the Clinic
The FREE World Cup Community Clinic is designed to activate our neighborhood ahead of the 2026 World Cup. We want players of all ages to show up, train, connect, and feel part of something bigger. This clinic is powered by a Game Ready Activation Grant supported by King County, the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the Community Business Connector network, and the Game Ready Business Ready initiative. Their support allows the Northwest Soccer Foundation, in partnership with West Seattle Junction FC and Rhodies FC, to bring free, high quality soccer programming straight to the community.
What Players Will Experience
You will walk into a session built with intention and energy.
Goalkeepers get focused training led by USL2 West Seattle Junction Goalkeeper Coach Dorian Lair, owner of Lair Athletics. Expect work on footwork, handling, positioning, and decision making.
Field players train with Mike Mata (USL2 West Seattle Junction Head Coach), Alex Mejia (USL2 player), and the owners of Jungla Soccer. They will run a high tempo field player session designed to sharpen technique, movement, confidence, and creativity.
Additional coaching support comes from Miguel Guevara (UPSL player) and Jurgen Rondon (UPSL player), plus potential guest player appearances that will elevate the experience.
Every player will get reps, real coaching, and the shared momentum our region is building as we approach the World Cup.

Seattle is about to host part of the biggest sporting event in the world. This clinic gives families a meaningful way to plug into the game, get active, and be part of the buildup. Every registration helps us track impact so we can keep expanding free programming, grow our work with West Seattle Junction FC and Rhodies FC, and create more opportunities for players who might not otherwise have access.
